The following cancellation policy changes are currently in effect:
Cancellations for rooms and suites* must be received at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival. For cancellations of rooms and suites* received at least 72 hours in advance of check-in, your deposit will be refunded less a $30 processing fee. Cancellations of rooms and suites* received less than 72 hours in advance of your scheduled check-in your deposit will be forfeited. Sorry, no refunds for early departure.
*Cancellations for our Lakeside Cabin and Villas must be received at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your scheduled arrival for a complete refund of your deposit, less a $30 processing fee. If you cancel less than two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival you are liable to pay 50% of the entire amount due for the full term of your reservation. Any amounts over 50% paid prior to receiving your cancellation will be refunded less a $30 processing fee.
You must call us directly at (608) 253-4092 to cancel your reservation. Cancellations by email or text will not be accepted. Reservations and cancellations are not valid until confirmed by resort reservations staff.
Additional Person & Resort Fees
Our room rates and included occupancy is based on the number of actual beds in the unit. If Sleeper Sofas are in the unit, Additional persons may be added up to the stated maximum occupancy of the room at the rate of $20 per person/per night.
A Resort Fee of $23.95 per night will be added to each reservation.
For rooms and suites* a minimum 1-night deposit is due at the time you make your reservation (see below for payment options). Any remaining balance due for rooms and suites* must be paid in full at check-in with either cash, credit card, or one of the alternate payment methods below.
*Cabin and Villa reservations must pay at least one-half (50%) of the total stay, paid at the time of reservation. All remaining balance for Cabin and Villa reservations must be paid in full no later than 1 day (24 hours) prior to your scheduled arrival. If we have not received your deposit and advance payments in the times as required above we may at our discretion cancel your reservation and refund any deposits received less a $30 processing fee.
You must present a valid credit card at check-in, even if you intend to pay with cash or an alternate method. All major credit cards are accepted. Sorry, we are not able to accept checks.
If you are reserving a room online you will be required to enter a valid credit card, even if you will be paying with an alternate method (see below). If you call to book by phone you must give a credit card to hold the room, even if you will be paying with an alternate payment method. Please note that your reservation is not complete and your room will not be guaranteed until we have received and processed your deposit payment.
If we do not receive your payment by an alternate method in a timely manner we may charge your deposit to your credit card. If we are unable to charge your credit card and do not receive your payment in a timely manner we will release the hold on your room at our discretion and your reservation will not be complete or guaranteed.

Delton Oaks is a light-housekeeping resort. This means that there is no daily housekeeping or maid service provided. We provide garbage bags, dish soap, bathroom tissue, and bath soap. Bed linens and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels! Resort guests may trade wet towels for clean ones daily, and clean sheets will be provided upon request. Dumpsters are conveniently located for your use.
Our kitchen units have a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Studio rooms have a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
Disposable coffee cups are supplied in all rooms. Disposable paper plates, forks, and spoons can be acquired at our office in the Lodge building.
Pots & pans and cooking utensils are available for loan at the office for a deposit of $25 per set. This deposit is fully refundable when all items are returned to the office washed and cleaned and in good condition. (These are brand new cooking sets and we intend to keep them that way with this new deposit-required loaner system). Please call ahead to request a cooking utensils set as only a limited quantity are available.
Upon check out, you are expected to leave your dishes washed and put away, loaner items returned to the office, and your garbage emptied when you leave. If you do not, extra cleaning charges may be applied.
Pets / Pet Fee
Well-behaved pets are welcome in our Lodge units for an additional $25 per-pet, per-night charge.
Please note – our Lakeside units, Cabin, and Villas are designated pet-free only. Pets are also not allowed on the beach or in the water. If you need a referral to a nearby kennel facility please call us in advance. A substantial ($250) cleaning fee plus retroactive per-pet charges will be applied if pets are found inside our Lakeside units, Cabin, or Villas, and your rental will be terminated without refund.
We thoroughly clean each unit between guests. All of our pet-friendly rooms go through a rigorous examination after a pet has stayed. This includes extensive cleaning of the room and air using a commercial grade ozoninator.
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. We ask if you are out later than that, that you are respectful of your neighbors and our other guests.
Our heated outdoor pool is open for use daily by registered guests from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Children ages 14 and under must be accompanied and monitored by an adult. For your safety no glass bottles, dishes, or glassware are permitted in the pool area. Please bring your own beach and pool towels. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
Under current Wisconsin state law, all hotel rooms and facilities are non-smoking only. Smoking in your room will result in a substantial ($250) cleaning fee to restore the room to a smoke-free condition. Smoking is permitted on the patio and balconies outside the rooms however you must keep your doors closed to prevent smoke from blowing back into the room. Areas designated for smoking are available outside the hotel buildings. Please properly dispose of your butts in the receptacles provided.
